Close examination of the structure of this house indicates that it is very old, and probably built prior to the Hill House.
More recently, after moving it to its present locations, it has been added to and modernized and used as a residence for the farmer. It has not been lived in since 1972.
The Farmhand's House is an exhibit building with artifacts relating to Livonia's history in industry, schools, churches, and more. This building is open during some special events and on tour Sundays.
